NEWS November 20, 2008 Congratulations to Senior Olivia Ophus for being selected to represent Jenks on the All-State Volleyball Game in June 2009! Way to go! Also several of our varsity players were selected to the Frontier Valley All-Conference Team! On Thursday, October 9, 2008, the
Jenks Varsity Volleyball team hosted one of the eight 6A
regionals at the Frank Herald Gym. In the night’s first
semifinal, Jenks beat East Central High 25-5, 25-17, 25-9. Enid
took care of Ponca City in the second semifinal. In the
regional championship, Jenks finished off by besting Enid 25-8,
27-25, 25-15. This is Jenks’ fourth straight
volleyball regional championship match.
Jenks now heads to state on
Friday, October 17, 2008 to face Union. The Jenks-Union Match
